History of the World Wide Web
WWW was first proposed in 1990 by Tim Berners-Lee and Robert Cailliau while working at the CERN, the European Council for Nuclear Research. The two of them came out with their individual proposition for Hypertext frameworks and later on they joined together and offered a joint proposition.
